Q: Chestnut color is too dark and dull / has a reddish hue / appears grayish-black

A:1. Chestnut Red is originally a deep warm red. The color pigment settles quickly and the paint was not properly mixed before application.
2. The thickness of the spray varies. Thin spraying results in a light orange color, while thick spraying leads to a darker shade.
3. The aging degree of the new and old vehicle bodies is different. The original paint oxidizes and the color shifts.
4. The wrong type of thinner was used. The quick-drying thinner is likely to cause uneven distribution of the color pigment. Solution
1. Before painting, thoroughly stir the entire can of paint for 5-10 minutes. Stir again at any point during the process.
2. Use a thin spray for 2-3 passes. Ensure proper flash drying between layers and avoid thick spraying in one pass.
3. Spray the test panel first, compare it with the original vehicle, and then spray the entire vehicle. Use a mist spray for interface transitions.
4. Use the special color red with medium-drying / slow-drying thinner. Do not use ultra-fast drying thinner in high-humidity weather.
